Several months in hand to save a child. 14.02.03

Dear readers,

Once again we want to make our frank acknowledgement to all those who have sent money for treatment of children about whom we told in our columns. We want to thank on our behalf and in the name of parents of these children.

You not only provided pecuniary aid but also inspired confidence that in our time there are people who can empathize, who are ready to come to the rescue of a complete stranger at the most trying moments not for the sake of benefit but for nothing, because someone needs help. Our profound bow before you.

Today, we continue to publish information about children who need aid.

Starting the site 7.12.01.

Congratulations. The site of the Ukrainian Social partnership Charity Fund began its work. Many thanks to ITD web-company.

On the air. 28.09.01 and 29.09.01.

The film about activity of the Social partnership Fund was put on the air.

This is a socially directed film, which describes dramatic lives of people, whom the Fund helps. It includes interviews with tenants and dependants of the city rubbish heap.

Delegation from the USA and SAR. 29.08.01.

The Social partnership Fund management had a meeting with a delegation from the USA and South Africa (Christian mission in SAR). During this meeting it was decided to give a free help to the medical center of the cafe which includes the most necessary medicines and vitamins. The members of the delegation expressed their wish to make advertising actions in their countries to support the Fund. The guests made philanthropic contributions.

TV-set and videotape recorder. 23.08.01.

The sponsor of the Stephania cafe Pravex-Bank JSCB presented TV-set and videotape recorder together with videotapes containing Christian programs. Many thanks to our Patron.

The emblem of the Fund. 20.08.01.

The management of the Fund elaborated and approved the emblem of the Ukrainian Social partnership Charity Fund.

It consists of the snowdrop struggling through the snow. The flower symbolizes the life-asserting force that in spite of all difficulties and obstacles paves the way to the Light.

The documents were sent to the Ministry of Justice for registration.

The millionth visitor. 12.07.01.

The cafe celebrated the day when the millionth visitor came. It was a 52 year old Stanislav Golovlev, a former shoemaker. He is homeless and has no money to live for. He has no relatives and he is blind, that's why he couldn't pass the medical commission in order to get a disability pension.

Now he is living in the porch. Recently the tenants of the house where he lives collected money for an operation on one eye. Stanislav needs operation on another eye and medical comment about his disability. We appeal to your mercy.

Illustrated booklet. 21.06.01.

The illustrated Who will help them?.. booklet was issued in June, 2001. It tells about activities of the Social partnership Fund. We are demonstrating and presenting it now. The booklet.

Child's birth. 19.05.01.

That day Maria Vlasova was born. The baby started to appear just on the territory of the Stephania cafe. Here the birth pangs began. A 16 year-old mother of a newly-born girl, Alina Vlasova, is a former prostitute. She came to the cafe by accident. She was fed here and told about Jesus Christ. And God changed her life, gave her place where to live. Masha, who is 5 months old, needs worm clothes, infant's food, and baby buggy.
