Ukrtelecom JSC

Income growth. July-September 2001.

According to the results of the third quarter as compared with the previous period of the current year the income of Ukrtelecom JSC has increased over 149 million Hryvnias, that is 928 million Hryvnias in total.

New digital channels.

Construction of a new International Commutational Center in Kharkov has been finished. So, switchover to digital channels between Ukraine and CIS countries has started.

Thanks to the International Commutational Center it became possible to exclude 575 analogue channels, as well as to organize additional 810 digital channels between Ukraine and Russia.

Rise in wages by 10,4%. July 2001.

Ukrtelecom JSC found the possibilities to raise the level of professional skills of its employees, as well as their education at the expense of some companies, that are interested in cooperation and investing in Ukrainian telecommunications. A month wage has increased by 10,4%.

A new project.

The management of Ukrtelecom in Odessa together with ISP Telnet has begun the presentation of a new Internet City telecommunication project.

Vulcan-Pravex PJSC

Vulcan-Pravex JSC has granted on lease spare areas located in 4, Regheneratornaya str., Kiev. Tariffs are as follows (including VAT):

- 26 Hr 40 cop. for 1 sq. m of the office area;

- 21 Hr 00 cop. for 1 sq. m of the industrial area;

- 18 Hr 00 cop. for 1 sq. m of storage premises;

- 3 Hr 00 cop. for 1 sq. m of the adjoining area.

There is an access track and centralized guard on the territory of the enterprise.

Pravex-Bank JSCB

Increasing of rates. 05.06.01.

On June 5, 2001 Pravex-Bank increased interest rates on deposit in Hryvnias with individuals.

Winners of 100 prizes. 23.07.01.

10 customers of Pravex-Bank have become winners in a series of interim 100 prizes (US $100 each) carried out by Western Union. Lucky stiffs will receive prize monies, and accountants who conducted money transfers, will receive valuable incentive prizes.

A new Chairwoman of the Bank Board. 02.08.01.

By a resolution of Pravex-Bank stockholders' General Meeting Helena Logoshnyak has been nominated for a post of the Chairwoman of the Bank Board.

Helena Logoshnyak is 31 years old. She has finished the Kiev Higher Banking School of the International Center of Market Relations and Business. Afterwards, she occupied leading positions in a number of Ukraine's commercial banks. From July 1999, Helena Logoshnyak was a Director of Pravex-Bank International Payments Department, and in June 2001 she was appointed to a post of the First Deputy of the Chairman of the Bank Board.

Payment of compensation. 10.08.01.

First ten persons who had suffered from Nazi persecution during World War II received Deutsche marks in Pravex-Bank.

According to Svetlana Kravchenko, Director of Deposit Operations Department, Pravex-Bank has carefully analyzed a clear-cut system for the payment of compensation; relevant documents have been prepared, and all affiliates and branches are operating without days off.

Payment of monies is made without commission charging. Recipients of compensation have the right to open current Deutsche mark accounts with the Bank at no charge and place currency on deposit at a favorable rate of interest.

New service. 14.08.01.

With introduction of "Internet-Client-Bank" technology Pravex-Bank has extended its services. It allows to receive statements of account in national and foreign currencies, make payments in Hryvnias, exchange by information correspondence with the Bank, analyze documents stored in the Bank's database, export and import information into the client's accounting system, printout electronic payment documents and information obtained from the Bank, as well as to receive daily exchange rates of the National Bank of Ukraine.
