The medical cabinet has been working since October 2000. The doctor and nurse accept patients from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m. Approximately 500 visitors of the Stephania cafe are provided with emergency first aid every month. During the whole period of work 6 849 persons came to the cabinet for help. They include 4 585 - homeless people, 402 - non-residents, 1 862 - kievites.

Medical aid was rendered to 997 children, 5 852 adults, 48 persons were hospitalized.

The problem of hospitalization is pressing since most visitors have no documents. Formally, hospitals have no right to refuse in hospitalization (when it comes to life or death). Virtually, we constantly face with all sorts of excuses like no beds, medicines, etc. But the real reason is that they don't want to deal with such dirty, degraded people. Besides, the wounds of those people are so neglected that nobody could imagine.

309 persons have been sent to treatment-and-prophylactic establishments of Kiev and 238 persons - to the dermatovenereal dispensary.

7 678.21 Hr. have been spent for the purchase of medical equipment and medicines.
